Stayed in Room 1 on the ground floor - nice big room, flat screen tv on the wall and a lovely powerful shower. Well priced honesty bar too. |

Hotels and B & B's are expensive in this area so the price of this Guest House is not out of line with what you would pay elsewhere. The room we had was on the first floor overlooking the car park and was perfectly acceptable with ensuite spa bath, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen tv with terrestrial channels. The breakfast was good and special mention must go to the very friendly and efficient breakfast waitress. Our only minor gripes would be that the shower was not powerful enough and water came out very slowly, and the breakfast room was in the basement - hardly bright and airy as advertised on the website. Also, there is a 2% additional charge for paying by credit card which is not mentioned on the website and we were unaware of until we were about to check out. This should be advertised more clearly in advance. |

Overall everything about the stay was ok, it's a nice place just not the 5 star we were expecting. En-suite very small so much so that in our room the sink was in the bedroom, stayed for 2 nights, breakfast order was wrong once. also had to ask for juice and glasses as they had run out and the dining room is cramped to fit all the tables in, our bedroom door left open all day by the cleaning staff - hotel very apologetic. |
