Stratford Manor - A QHotel

The reception staff were really polite and helpful, however when we came to check in we were allocated a twin room when we had booked a double, but it was no trouble for the lady to allocate us another room. The buffet style breakfast was delicious, lots of choice! The taxi were quite pricey into Stratford at £8 each way.

The hotel was very easy to find, the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet, clean and welcoming. There was a wedding party on when we came back from town on the Saturday night, they were friendly and not too boisterous so that did not spoil our stay. A very nice hotel.

Very friendly staff, felt like nothing was too much trouble for them. Had dinner in the restaurant, which we couldn't fault, it really was lovely. That said, I've given 5/6 for the food quality rating as we felt the standard of cooked (buffet) breakfast wasn't to the same high standard. It could be argued that food sitting under a hot-plate can't be expected to be of the same standard as freshly cooked, but I'd have been happy to wait for it if given the option. It wouldn't put me off going back though, I'm sure we'll be back over the next year.
