Spot on host at this hotel, David, made us very welcome for our stay watching the 'footy'. Clean and quiet accomodation and very conveniently placed for city centre.

We had a mixed experience of staying in this hotel. First of all I have to say the location is not bad at all. It's about less than 10 minutes walk away from the historical centre which is good coz you dont want to stay in the historical area hotels, it's just too busy and filthy. Our first night stay, we were put in a room with no balcony and no fridge. We then told the hotel staff that we were told the room has a balcony and a fridge and the lady said "they have all the rooms full!!?? so we will have a room with balcony and fridge from the second day!!??" This was sorted on the second day but we weren't happy that we had been given a room that way the first night. Another real let down were the breakfast trays. In the hotel advert says the breakfast tray is delivered to your room everyday but the truth is the breakfast tray is there all the time!!!!! It's couple of biscuits and tea bags which they top it up when they come to clean the room which is very cheeky. So write off the breakfast in there as it is a joke.The hotel management were very friendly and and I have to say I was very impressed at how clean the room were in general. But I dont think I would stay there again or recommend it to a friend!!
