The Langorf

This stay was EXCELLENT! We arrived in London for a birthday party, upon check in, we were told that we could have an upgrade Free of charge as the hotel was not full that night - they gave us an apartment with a kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom. It was totally somewhere you could have lived!! Street parking was easy, and it was a Saturday so is free (amazing in london!!!). The tube station was a short walk away and the staff were available at all times (like when we rolled in to collect our key at 3 am!! - bless them). Will definitely be staying here again on my return to London.

Decent little hotel less than 10 mins walk from the tube station. Situated in a quiet area. The service is good and the rooms are good value for money. Small bathroom, creeky bed but it was all clean. Breakfast continental only but satisfactory. Would stay again due to proximity to central london.

Room was advertised as 4 star. Maybe 40 years ago. Room furniture, drapes and bed were VERY old. TV was a 15" monitor and supposedly had WIFI but I couldn't get a signal. NO air conditioner so you have to open windows. And if you are in the room I was in (basement next to entrance) you hear comings and goings all night long. Hotel is situated in a residential neighborhood just a few blocks from the Finchley Rd underground Jubilee Line. And even closer is the O2 center that has shopping, restaurants and movie theater. Just down the road (and even closer to amenities mentioned above) for £10 more you can stay at the newer and nicer hotel that I moved to after the first night!

Excellent hotel for London. Homely atmosphere. 24hr concierge. Rooms not completely soundproofed from noisy people in next room slamming doors, but on 2nd night slept much better. Parking rather traumatic. But overall great place to stay.
