16th century listed building, now a luxury hotel with every comfort. Much more than the exterior has been preserved. This impressive mansion has been tastefully refurbished, conserving unique decorations from former centuries: marble mantelpieces, paintings, oak staircase, exposed oak beams.

Quietly situated in the heart of Bruges: 20 m from the most romantic and picturesque canals, 200 m from the Burg square (City Hall) and Market square (Belfry). 36 rooms fully en-suite, hairdryer, telephone, television with English language programmes, minibar. Breakfast buffet, lift, bar, lounge, large renaissance garden with 100 year old beech tree. Public underground parking at only 50 meters (please make a reservation).

Met de auto :Via Antwerpen/Gent of Brussel/Gent rijdt U richting Oostende (autoweg E-40). Neem net vóór Brugge de uitrit Oostkamp. Volg de wegwijzers "Brugge". Na ongeveer 5 km komt u via de "Baron Ruzettelaan" op de ring rond Brugge. U rijdt gewoon rechtdoor. Via de "Katelijnepoort" rijdt u de stad binnen. U bent nu in de "Katelijnestraat". Rechtdoor tot aan de "Onze Lieve Vrouw-kerk". Daar rechts af. U bent dan op de "Dijver", waar zich de belangrijkste musea bevinden (Gruuthuse, Brangwyn, Groeninge). Rechtdoor tot aan de "Vismarkt" (ligt aan de linkerzijde). De volgende straat rechts is de Freren Fonteinstraat. U ziet het hotel dadelijk aan de linker kant.Hotelparking aan € 11 per dag.Met de trein: Aan het station in Brugge neemt u bus nr. 6 of 16 tot aan de "Vismarkt". Ga verder in de rijrichting van de bus. Het hotel ligt in de volgende straat rechts aan de linker kant.

    A nice and easy 30 minute walk from the station (or 10 mins in a taxi) - although if your luggage is on wheels, bear in mind the whole town is cobbled! About 5 mins walk from the town centre, really convenient for tourists.
    Generally fine and a classic building, but our 'double' room had two single beds (individually made up with sheets and blankets) pushed together. That is NOT a double!! Beds too soft for our liking.
    Quite expensive, but not by Brugge standards - the whole town is a tourist trap and priced accordingly.
    Breakfasts OK and the lack of evening meals is not a problem as there's loads of places to eat nearby. Steer clear of the rough house red wine in the bar - but they have Brugse Zot so you don't need to bother with wine anyway.
    Friendly and efficient staff who'll happily arrange taxis for you and who all speak loads of languages.
    I would stay again, if I could be sure of a true double room, and it's certainly worth considering.

    A lovely hotel really close to the centre. Fantastic breakfasts!
