Excellent B&B for a long weekend break in York and surrounding area. Made very welcome by the owner - it was my partner's birthday and when she found out, as we were leaving, she produced some chocolates for him - very touching thought. Good breakfast, would definitely use again. No evening meal but they have a list of local restaurants. We tried the Italian - good food, bistro style. Can recommend the White Hart at Pool also for a meal. |

Good location for the motorways, very friendly staff, an enjoyable stay. Our double room was smaller than we would have liked but that was a minor issue. |
