The Georgian House is a charming hotel in the centre of London. Close to Victoria Station, it is ideally situated for access to all of London, yet has the advantage of being just outside the congestion zone. The hotel is near Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, and very convenient for shopping in Oxford Street or Knightsbridge and Harrods. The Georgian House Hotel has 53 rooms equipped with all modern comforts and facilities, yet retaining the original features and feel of the building. The rooms are beautifully decorated in keeping with tradition, yet offer the warmth and comfort expected by the modern traveller.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was adequate (it is a budget hotel after all) although the bathroom was a tiny box in the corner of the room which had a light 'drainage' type odour. It would benefit from the use of airfresheners. The odour did not eminate into the sleeping area. Would stay again but only for one or two nights.

Booked a room at the Georgian House Hotel but found on arrival that we were round the corner in another building. Shower was useless - fixed head directly above you which meant you couldn't lather your hair without turning the water off. Breakfast turned out to be "continental" despite having paid £40 supplement on the room and having to walk back to the Hotel we were supposed to be booked into in the morning to get it. The "breakfast included" should have stated NOT FULL ENGLISH. Disappointing.

cheap and reasonably cheerful. the room was the smallest i've ever stayed in, but there was only me and i expected it that way. having said that, the room was very clean if functional. the bathroom was nice and modern, but again very small. no wifi which is frustrating. the breakfast was ok, but served by friendly staff. there is no lift. one thing really annoying thing, there were no toiletries, other than a cheap piece of soap.

We had a lovely basement flat for our family of 6 adults, two streets from the hotel, with fully equipped kitchen and even a tiny garden. The staff was lovely. The breakfast room is too small for the hotel so they get a bit nervy if everybody gets up at the same time. The hotel is very well situated, near Victoria but in a very quiet neighbourhood.
