because we had a dog with us and they gave us a garden room, the room was very tired looking, cobwebs and not very clean it could have done with a lick of paint and new carpet and furnishing. i know we have a dog but it does'nt mean we should get less than other people staying, i would hope that the rooms in the main part of the hotel were better. although we were'nt happy about the room, it suited us to stay there purely because they accepted dogs, the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful and the golf was great for my husband so for that reason we would return but i could'nt recommend it. the hotel is of a lower standard than what we are used to. also we were not informed of the £10 charge for the dog. |

The rooms were very stuffy with little air flow. The beds were ridiculously soft. There was no offer of help with luggage to the room. Breakfast was good and the location good but all in all horrendously over priced for the quality. |

The disappointing thing about this hotel is the complete lack of evening meal/bar snacks facilities other than a very expensive set menu. Potential guests should bear this in mind, particularly if you are staying on your own as I was and therefore did not want to go into the village to a pub or restaurant. |
