The hotel is situated in a lovely, leafy area about 10 mins from the city centre. The staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful and they went above and beyond by bringing my evening meal up to my room (for no extra charge). The room itself was very clean, nicely presented and comfortable. I was in the eaves of the building which, for me, was a bonus as it was full of character. Might not be so good for taller guests! Breakfast was relaxed and quick (although I only went for tea and toast) and staff were, again very helpful. Overall a lovely stay. |

The hotel atmosphere was lovely, The girl who checked us in was extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. I would have liked to see the new dining area, looks like it will be really nice. The only things I would have liked in our room was hotter water in the shower and a more comfortable bed. The bed was extremely hard and our backs were sore the next morning. |
