Fantastic setting in beautiful gardens. The Exec-Dlx rooms are huge - with a large bathroom with bidet, oversized bath and seperate shower cubical. The room we were in did not have a wardrobe, but a walk in dressing room, which is as big as one of our shower rooms at home! I guess the only critisism with the accomodation was that the shower was rather difficult to adjust to a comfortable temprature - it either went too hot or too cold - but not a show stopper. |

I really don't have a bad word to say about this hotel! It is situated in beautiful and very relaxed surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and as for the room and bathroom they were enormous, certainly value for money. The Crystal restaurant offered excellent food, I can recommend the lobster but not if you're on a budget! The only down side was I only stayed for one night as on a business trip, so would love to enjoy a longer and leisurely stay another time. |

Hotel was lovely in a sceniuc setting with lovely grounds. Unfortunately I don't believe that the hotel is that unique that it deserves to charge the prices that it does. So if you get a good price definitely come along but don't otherwise |

The hotel on arrival smelt of old hoover bags and the level of cleaning was poor with huge fluff ballsand filth in the corners (by the fire doors)and on the skirtings, however, the carpets in straight/clear areas were immaculate. The room(Laburnum) was potentially fabulous but the curtains were torn as was the headboard and patches of wallpaper. Also there was black mould around the bath. At £170-£240 per night I would expect perfection. The staff were surly and unhelpful I couldn't even borrow a pair of scissors! When requested a second room for some others guests I was quoted £240 and yet when I phoned laterooms.com they quoted me £140 bearing in mind this was at 9pm on the evening required. The breakfast was fine although at £20 per head for bacon and egg is somewhat excessive!! I will not be going again. |

Very nice hotel, room was lovely although I am not sure the price was justified. Would stay again though. |
