Extremely pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. |

We found the twin beds quite hard and the rooms (bathrooms in particular) would benefit from updating. Staff were pleasant. However, in our opinion, £95 per night was not really good value for money. |

Our only disappointment was the bar. It was difficult to understand how it was voted Pub of the Year. Only two beers to choose from and one was distinctly off. Lack of customers didn't help, so conviviality was in short supply. |

Very welcoming and friendly staff, great location for mountain biking, walking, sailing and horse riding. Great breakfast + food well above normal pub standards. Room and food not the cheapest and bathroom, although clean, could do with refitting in a more modern style with a power shower. Very cosy bar area and nice garden when the sun was shining! |
