From Chester take the A55 to exit no 22 sign posted Old Colwyn then turn towards promenade and Beach turn left along Promenade for 2 miles past the small boats to Rhos point then turn left into Abbey Road. From the A5 take A470 at Betws-y-Coed towards Llanrwst stay on the road till you join the A55 take A55 towards Chester turn off at the first exit no 20 to Rhos-on-Sea. From Llandudno take Promenade road towards Colwyn Bay turn left at Penrhyn Bay roundabout to Rhos-on-Sea after passing the golf club take the second turning on the right into Abbey Road.

There was adequate car parking space, which is not usually the case with hotels in Llandudno, and this was our reason for choosing Rhos on sea. The marine parade was only just around the corner from the hotel. We only had breakfasts, which were beautifully cooked and very generous, but bar snacks and evening meals are available on request. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The owners were sooooo friendly and nice. its a block or two away from the water, and walking distance from places to eat. But the place looks a bit run down though. could use some repairs. But the owners kept it clean.

This hotel is clean and friendly, but the outdated décor lets it down somewhat and feels more like a traditional B&B rather than a ‘3 star hotel’. Interesting picture of cat in the games room! Breakfast was fine. Did not try the room service as price seemed very expensive. Hotel was easy to get to. There are no shops/restaurants around the hotel. Rhos-on-Sea does not have the scenic beach views but is a convenient base to explore neighboring North Wales attractions, and to avoid the holiday crowd.
