The restaurant has an excellent reputation, as has the hotel's Club Moativation with pool, spa, sauna, steam room, aerobics, beauty treatment, solarium and gym. Arrived at hotel at 9 pm. I was told restaurant closed at 9.30pm. Arrived at restaurant 9.15pm. After a frosty greeting I was asked what I wanted. Replied I would like a table for one. Response was "we are too busy and not accepting anymore sittings". I pointed out that I was a guest and that there were at least 8 tables empty and set for dining. I got the same response. I asked for the restaurant manager who arrived and quickly showed me to a table after explaining the situation.
Service was good from that point onwards. Food quality was poor and the steak garnish of mushrooms and tomato was very cold. The peppercorn sauce that I ordered as a side dish was like water, contained no cream or peppercorns and was left untouched. (cost £1). I was asked if I enjoyed my meal, explained "no". and comments were received with a shrug from waitress.
Would not recommend this particular Hotel.

OK - nut disappointed that I as charged an addtional £ 10 for breakfasst when the Late Rooms quote of £ 130.00 already included breakfast. Hence no recommendation
