I am attempting to rehome a dog from the dogs trust which is right next door. Very handy. Clean, tidy with enourmous rooms. I may have to stay over again this weekend and I would certainly stay again. Good breakfast too.

We arrived at the hotel and they had no knowledge of the Late Rooms booking. They did manage to find us a room. When checking back in during the evening the room smelt strongy of chemicals. (Seems the carpet had been cleaned). They then had to find us another room which was excellent. Comortable beds. Good night;s sleep. Good breakfast. Woud suggest that you have some sort of system whereby the hotel acknowledges the booking. We could have had a problem.

The breakfast serving was a little stingy though freshly cooked which is nicer than food kept warm

Room was quite large compared to most hotel rooms these days, so was great. The only downsidewas it was very windy when we stayed and although there is double glazing, it is in a wooden window frame which let the draft through, so the heating could only just get the temperature to an acceptable evel. Breakfast was great, but would not like to pay £13.50 for it!

Although the room was good, and reception staff cheerful and very helpful. The evening staff in charge of the bar are useless and the bar prices are far to high £7 for glass of wine, but the nearest pub is a good few minutes drive away, although worth the drive & very friendly. The breakfast is poor and is the smallest that I have ever had, very very poor value @ £13.50
