Located in the very heart of this vibrant city, this beautiful Victorian hotel has been completely redeveloped into a new, contemporary hotel, whilst still retaining its architectural splendour and personality. Each of the contemporary bedrooms is finished to a high specification, with air conditioning and wi-fi throughout. There is an excellent fine dining restaurant, expected to win 2 AA rosettes, an intimate lounge bar, and a champagne bar within the hotel, as well as 24 hour room service.

ROAD: From M4 J29, A48 Cardiff. Exit after 7 miles at A470 signposted city centre. At roundabout 2nd exit. After 2 miles take right fork and follow road for another mile. At the next major junction, turn left at the lights, and almost immediately, take the slip lane and turn right into Kingsway. At end turn left, after 100 yards by 2nd set of lights, turn right, hotel on left. From Cardiff Central - 10 mins (0.25 km) walk. Turn right onto St Mary Street / High Street, walk 400 yards straight to Cardiff Castle. Turn right and walk 250 yards down Queen Street. Hotel on left opposite Marks & Spencer. AIR: From Cardiff International Airport - 35 mins (19 km). Head towards Culverhouse Cross Roundabout. Take fourth exit and follow signs for City Centre.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, hotel in a good position for shopping, theatre visits and easy access to Bay Area. Hotel restaurant small menu but would prefer some daily changes to encourage more patronage from guests staying more than one night.

Everyone involved in our stay at this hotel were brilliant. We had breakfast and a light lunch which were both excellent. The hotel is very centrally positioned and there is very easy access to the main shopping drag. We will definately stay here again!

The hotel has recently reopened after a major redevelopment giving an "as new" experience inside. The bedrooms,bathrooms and public rooms are therefore first class and well laid out. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly giving us an excellent backdrop to our sons graduation. We would recommend the hotel to anyone for both business or leisure visits.

Very nice hotel, fully refurbished recently. Right in the city centre. The staff where very freindly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back.
