Interesting trying to get breakfast early as needed to get an early fight. Reception staff busy arguing between themselves in front of me whilst I tried to find my room order. Was giving a convoluted story then duty manager proceeded to argue with me when all I wanted was breakfast and to get away . Worst custsomer service handling i have experience in years |

Much to our disappointment on our arrival we were informed that the swimming pool and spa facilites were closed due to refurbishment. We were not informed of this when we were reserving a room (otherwise we would have gone elsewhere as this was something we were looking forward to). When we shared our disappointment with the receptionist she called the duty manager to see if anything could be done. The duty manager informed us that in the first week of the refurbishment they had a deal with the Metropole next door that guests could use their facilities, after the first week this deal did not exist, when I asked 'why?' he told me that they had taken the swimming pool and spa off their website so from this it should be deduced that it would not be open! Nothing to actually say these facilities are closed. I informed the duty manager that we booked via laterooms and he said he would contact them to let them know, obviously too late for us. |
