A great hotel, was obviously a Village Hotel when first built. Staff very friendly and efficient, rooms good size and comfortable. Nice distance from the centre of Blackpool. Have to go for breakfast early, as it gets very busy later on. Only bad point was the golf bar it was hard to get served so we left!

Most disappointing. For hotel built only ten? fifteen years ago? and of this calibre and price, you would expect a much higher standard of room and accomodation. The halls and walk thru areas were very tired looking - as if they have seen too much traffic, and the carpets really need replacing. Walls are marked and paper peeling. There is no feeling of the hotel being well looked after.
Our room? Well, my dog may have been happy with it. The net curtains were ripped and stained. No vents at all in the bathroom - very steamy. The view from the window was the wort we had ever seen... basically all light blocked out by a roof ledge of some description. Only 1 foot of daylight could be seen. However, the bed was small, but it was very soft and comfy.
And sorry folk, that's about as good as it gets.

Fantastic facilities and compared to the expensive sea front guest houses this is a quality hotel. The facilities are superb - Leisure and Food. Travelling with a two year old this hotel is very child friendly. The rooms are small, particualr two adults plus child in double room. My biggest complaint is that the rooms are not sound proof and that noise from neighbouring rooms is an issue.

Went to the hotel with my husband and 7yr old son and my dad and wicked stepmum. Had a lovely relaxing time.My husband stopped moaning for once while he played golf so that was good.The hotel itself was lovely,i was worried i might be cold but i was lovely and warm all 3 days,it was clean and modern,the rooms were really spacious and the beds were changed while we were there,the staff were lovely.The breakfast buffet was great there was so much choice.There were only two down sides the pool was a bit cold some others were moaning about that and the drinks were really expensive which we had heard before we went,so the bars were empty so, i think they would be better bringing the prices down so more people would stay in the hotel.I would recommend this hotel for people of all ages and types

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, sport and leisure facilities great for whole family.
