Situated on Poole Quay, this spacious modern hotel overlooks England's largest and most attractive natural harbours. The hotel offers 70 guest bedrooms, all en suite and many benefiting from harbour views. There are 2 bars and a lounge with outside terrace and lawn serving a selection of drinks, light refreshments and meals. The award winning HV restaurant is open daily. Enjoy the ambience, unrivalled views and of course fine dining and excellent service.
The hotel offers WiFi provided by BT Openzone which is available throughout the public areas and bedrooms, at an additional cost. We also have a public computer available on pay per use.
Thistle Poole also offers conference and functions facilities and is only venue on the quay that is able to host both civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts.

Road - From M227 junction 1, follow A31 to Wimborne and then A349 into Poole town centre, follow signs to the Port (A350). The hotel is located on the seafront. 100 car parking spaces available at £5.00 per car per night. Railway and the TubeTake the mainline service to Poole from Waterloo Station in London. From Poole Station (0.75 miles), take a taxi to the hotel (approximately 5 minutes). Air - The hotel is 90 miles from Heathrow Airport. Take the M25, M3, M27, A35 and then the A350 into Poole Town Centre. Follow signposts to the quay and the hotel is located on the seafront. Alternatively, take the Heathrow Express into London Paddington and then follow the rail directions to the hotel. The hotel is 7 miles from Bournemouth International Airport and you can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel.

Ideal location. Wished we had had a sea/Harbour view. Handy for visiting Pool Park as well as the area around the Quay. Downstairs Bar was very small and a lot of people not resident were in there, especially on the Thursday night as it was the Fireworks Display on the Quay. Object to really having to pay car park fee though. At the prices you pay it should be included. Enjoyed our stay and would go again.

Helpful staff, comfortable room with some nice touches including a free upgrade to a room with a view of the quay. Cheap bar too (amazingly!) The hotel is in a nice setting just on the quayside, great views, just make sure you know your sailing lingo so you can mingle with the locals! Relatively secure parking - covered by lighting and cctv.
