The Mayflower is simply amazing. A steal of a hotel that gives great style at knockdown prices with no catches. Harry's Bar in New York was the inspiration for the interior of the juice bar, while in reception an enormous wood carving from Jaipur frames a sculptured waterfall. Wander at will and come across creamy stone floors, leather sofas, American walnut and original art. The bedrooms are wonderfully designed with marble bathrooms and exceptional walk-in showers. Most are filled with unusual antiques from India and Far East, with lots of carved wood, gorgeous Andrew Martin fabrics and light wood floors. You get swish curtains, Merino wool blankets, Egyptian cotton and ceiling fans. The technology is state-of-the-art, the use of space is clever. Rooms are light and a couple have balconies. Family rooms are funky, with bunk beds and good lighting. The tube is a two-minute walk and Earls Court is on your doorstep.

the breakfast let the experience down. No one met us or asked what room we were in, what to do etc so it was confusing & others had the same opinion. They had run out of fresh bread etc towards the end of the breakfast time and it could have been handled much better.

The apartment was some distance from the hotel. This was not made clear. The room overlooked a very busy road (Warwick Road) - I would never stay there again. While the room was fine the common areas of the building were very poor

Handy as we were going to Earls Court, but the room was very small, and the tv didnt work properly.

I had booked a single room for 2 nights and on arrival I was upgraded to a large twin room without asking which was lovely. Unfortunately on my second night I was in the single room! The smallest hotel room I have ever had but as I'm only 5ft 4" the small single bed and minute shower room were bearable, just! Hotel was immaculately clean though and breakfast had a good fresh selection of items. Would stay here again but not in a single room!

a very nice room, slightly small but modern and clean. overall very impressed as i stayed in the budget room £57 and its the nicest low cost hotel i have stayed in. I would like to try one of the larger, nicer rooms next time i visit. Very close to Earls court tube station.
