As a hotel, its large and impersonal and somwhat past its prime. If you are not here for the golf, don't bother.

I did not stay at the hotel as they over booked and expected me to travel into Birmingham city center at anothet hotel they arranged. I was not willing to do so and found an alternative. I even hjad to wait for confirmation from hotel management that they would not charge me!!. Very poor
