I have stayed at this hotel before and really enjoyed my stay, I booked through late deals 3 weeks prior to our stay booking a double bedroom for 2 nites. on arrival we were given the room only to find it had twin beds. I complained and was told they were unable to move me until the next day. however we left the hotel and complained only to be told booking a double room through late deals does not gaurantee that you will get a double on arrival. On return the next day we were given a double room that was of high standards but the evening meal has a lot to be desired, The money you pay, you would expect a high quality but unfortunitly this is disappointing. It would help if the waiting staff could understand what you are requesting. this is a down fall at the hotel, some of the staff do not speak or understand english. however the breakfast is good.

Having got a bargain priced room via late rooms we expected a smaller room and one that probably didnt have the best of views. However, we arrived to find we had been allocated a massive room with every facility you could need and a gorgeous view out over Loch Leven to the Pap of Glencoe. This has ensured that we will return to The Isles and also recommend to friends and family. I should add that the breakfast selection was also very impressive and tasty and the staff made an effort to smile and be friendly.

We managed to get this hotel for £59 per night which didn't include breakfast, and what a bargain. The view from our room alone was worth the money. 3 huge velux windows looking out onto the water with dramatic mountains overlooking. Simply stunning.
We were met by Josephine on reception who was lovely and very welcoming, and within minutes of checking in we were using the pool and sauna, which were very clean and a great little facility, especially after a gruelling walk.
The only bar was OK, it lacked atmosphere, but was well stocked and comfortable. There is a little pub 5 minutes away by foot in the village of Ballachulish for those ho prefer a geniune pub experience.
Overall the hotel was excellent, and the surrounding area breathtaking. Fort William is only a 30 minute drive away, and Glen Nevis and Nevis Range only about 40-45 minutes. Book this hotel with confidence!!!
