Room was large and airy, with clean bedlinen and complimentary bottles of water and wet wipes. Also had tv & DVD player which was a bonus. Lovely view of Battersea Power stn, but no balcony as we had expected. Landlord was very accommodating, particulary when our door lock fell off as we were leaving for some dinner. He had fixed it by the time we returned, and willingly let us in at midnight when one of the doors for which we had no key was locked.
Room was quite noisy, from traffic(to be expected) and also an intermittent extractor fan coming on throughout the night. Also one of the rooms adjoining us was playing the TV all night.
Should be noted that the King William is not close to Victoria, and the directions and distance details were misleading

Great value for money, nice big room, comfy bed, friendly. Nice view along the river towards Chelsea and Albert bridges. Probably wouldn't stay again, but that more reflects location and convenience for the places I need to get to when in London rather than anything wrong with the hotel.

I was really impressed by this little place, it is a traditional pub first and foremost and not a hotel, but the rooms were fab, really spacious with loads of room to move about which is not common at all in budget to medium budget hotels.
Another thing which really impressed me was a couple of small touches, the fresh flowers in the room and complimentary bottles of mineral water, small things but which most other places in the same price range dont do.
The customer service was top also, they helped me with excellent travel info, the hotel has excellent travel links, the 24 bus starts and ends its route outside and this runs 24/7 and takes you direct to Leicester Square/Covent Garden. They also recommended a brilliant Indian restaurant three minutes away.
I travel alot and stay in the economy - medium price range hotels always and i would deffinately use this place again, its spotless clean and has everything you could want with no Frills.

Recently refurbished meant painting over peeling paint and rotten wood. No headboards, bedside cabinets.Windows(single glazed) did not close properly so draughty and noisy. Noise from nearby club kept us awake until 5am. Shower didnt work and trailed on shower tray.Heavy rain leaked through bathroom ceiling down wall and soaked bathroom floor. They only take cash.

Map location shown is way off, a brisk 10 minutes walk south-west of Pimlico Tube station, NOT adjacent to Victoria as shown on the map! The Landlord blamed Google Maps, but LateRooms says it's up to the Landlord to correct this. Room was OK for the price, but the "Power Shower" went down to trickle after 2 minutes. I've had better experiences for around £40.
