Very good sized, stylish traditional room, well appointed, in an excellent location near British Museum. 5 minutes walk to a late opening Waterstones (Gower St) and range of restaurants (Charlotte Street area, about 10 mins). Russell Square a pleasant green space nearby. It was a hot night, and though there is no air conditioning in the room, the ceiling fan was very welcome. Free morning papers. Fairly good value at Laterooms discounted rate and, as I needed to stay for an extra night I was pleased to be offered the room at the same low(ish) rate. Tube Russell Sq (or Holborn, or Goodge St). |

A beautiful room - very clean, spacious and well appointed, in a quiet street in a very smart area. Good restaurants nearby. |

Ideal location - 5 - 10 mins walking distance to theatres, ticket agencies, Covent Garden, restaurants. British Museum virtually next door. 5 mins by taxi from Euston. Whilst would prefer sister hotel next door (Grange Whitehall) this is a good hotel in an ideal location. As with all Grange Hotels staff here are friendly, welcoming & helpful. |
