Nice cosy accommodation. Room was above spec for the price paid. The food was excellent, I recommend the Sirloin Steak to anyone and the pepper sauce to go with it was good- could have done with peppercorns in it, not just cracked pepper. Breakfast was very good as well with a good choice of eggs. |

Perfect location to relax and unwind. Staff very friendly and food excellent. No TV in bedroom number 5, but upon reflection I went to 'get away' and relax by an open fire!. Would definitely stay again as very clean and comfortable and only a short drive away from windermere and surrounding walks. |

Kind of odd having no TV in the room but for one night this wasnt a big problem although with a longer stay it may have been and the same goes for only having a bath and no shower, however the room was excellent, clean and full of character, the staff where very friendly and helpful and the food was good, all in all excellent value for money! |
