Vinyard is a friendly and relaxed place for a family. We stayed in a good sized room for all the 4 of us. Good breakfast, service was helpful friendly and everyone made us welcome. My only reservation would be if you are staying on a Saturday night and there are children in the party, you may get a bit of noise from the bar below. Having said that the rest of the time it was very quiet and relaxed. Good location, Hurstpierpoint is a pretty village. |

In fairness , the manager had only been in about 4 weeks , and his wife had broken her collar bone ! but I would describe it as no more than a b & b , not a hotel for a romantic weekend stay . The room was very small , en-suite VERY small . At £75 it was very overpriced . I feel that maybe they should not have taken bookings for a few weeks , to put the place right . |
