Riad Saba

2 derb Charkaoui Douar Graoua, Marrakech

Riad Saba is a calm oasis in the middle of the bustling medina. You are within 7 min. walk to the famous square Jemma el Fna, to Palace Bahia and the enormous bazar so called the souk. Enjoy Marrakech from a centrally located riad with unusually large guestrooms. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served on the rooftop. We are happy to help you organize guided city walks, hiking in the Atlas mountains. etc etc.
Central location- Owner present -Easy access-Ideal for families-Wifi access
Riad Saba is a traditional Moorish house with a central courtyard open to the sky and decorated with fountain and exotic plants. It took five years of renovation with local craftsmen and artists, to create this little oasis for discerning traveler’s who want to experience Marrakech from an oriental home with friendly atmosphere.
Riad Saba has 5 large and comfortable guestrooms. Each room is decorated in its own style and all rooms have ensuite bathroom, A/C and heating and wifi Internet. In most rooms you can choose if you want the beds as a double bed or two twin beds.
Many of our guests point out our strong points as being: Understated and cosy decor, personal service and lavish breakfasts
Riad Saba has a lot of common space that guests are encouraged to make use of:
-A large living room with library of music and books as well as satellite TV, dvd's and computer.
-An elegant diningroom under the arcades by the patio.
- Rooftop under the African sky with sunchairs, shower, plants, several cosy corners as well as a shaded dining area where the lavish breakfasts are served. Riad Saba is non-smoking however we invite our guests to smoke on the rooftop.
Riad Saba is one of the very few riads to which you can take a taxi or drive all the way to the door. We also have guarded parking just outside.
The basic premise of Riad Saba is hospitality of a more individual kind.
When we greet a guest, we feel - and want them to feel - that they have been invited into a home.
Our tone is courteous, yet familiar and informal, and we enjoy a feeling of community between guests and hotel.
We will do our absolute best to make your time here absolutely wonderful: a breakfast on the sunny rooftop, a candlelight dinner by the arcades or a glass by the fireplace in the large livingroom.- Moments that we hope will create happy memories from Marrakech. We place great importance on good traditional Moroccan cooking, comfortable beds and the warmest of welcomes, all within a delightful and elegant environment.
Riad Saba is the perfect place to regenerate between your adventures in and around Marrakech. Maria & Jabrane will be happy to help you organize activities to get the best and the most out of your trip to Morocco. Such as guided city walks focused on Moroccan culture, history and architecture: hiking in the Atlas mountains: trips to Sahara desert, the fishing village Essauira. We also do birthday celebrations and dinners in the riad.
We speak English, French, Arabic, Swedish and Spanish.
