Situated in an unrivalled Leeds location, Beechwood Hotel is a fine, 100 year old stone building, offering South facing gardens and a private car park at the rear of the hotel.

We are just 3 miles from the city centre, and only 500 metres from the outer ring road (A6120) to the North of Leeds, giving easy access to the M1 motorway (J46), York, Wetherby, Harrogate and Leeds/Bradfrd Airport.

The acclaimed Tropical World Butterfly house, and extensive grounds of Roundhay Park are right next to the hotel, as are a range of top quality restaurants and bars.

We are situated 100m on right. from M62 take junction 27 onto M621, come off at J2 and follow Harrogate / Sheepscar sign. Continue through Chapel Allerton to 'Moortown Corner' and take right onto Street Lane at Grosvenor Casino / Car Phone Warehouse. We are situated 3/4 mile on the left after Deer Park, Starbucks and Flying Pizza.

We booked this hotel, as we only needed somewhere to sleep overnight and needed an early start and the hotel was in close proximity to the Leeds ring road. The proprietor mentioned that our room wasn't one of their best, as they are in the process of refurbishing the property. But although the decor was dated, the beds were comfy and everything was clean and the room was warm. We had a nice breakfast in the newly decorated dining room. We were very satisfied. Good value for money as long as you don't need 'extras' - gym, spa, restaurant, etc.

Ok hotel, but worn around the edges eg TV remote didn't work, tiny TV, bathroom tap broken and other minor things. Not really worth the money but friendly owners.

The hotel was very easy to find and lovely and homely. Brian the owner was lovely and was happy to deal with any of my queries. I had a very restful night's sleep in a comfortable room where there was very minimal traffic noise and plenty of access to local restaurants and eateries which were just up the road. I went to bed knowing I had a full english breakfast waiting for me when I awoke in the morning, which was delicious. I will definitely stay again when I'm in Leeds.
