A warm welcome despite my very late arrival! Very pleasant location with excellent quality of room and furnishings. The concept of DIY continental breakfast in your room provides good flexibility at the start of your day. It was a shame I was only there for two nights!

A fantastic hotel in a greta location, recently refurbished to a very high standard. I would not hesitate to go there again or recommend it to anybody else.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed, quiet location - we really appreciated the convenience of having breakfast facilities in the room as it meant a leisurely breakfast. The breakfast options supplied were extensive and there was fresh milk provided in the fridge. We were impressed by the fact that we used all the (real, ground) coffee sachets on breakfast 1, and the hotel thoughtfully doubled up the quantity for breakfast 2. The walk down into Newlyn isn't far, but it's a steep uphill climb back. (We cheated and took a taxi - £6.50 from Penzance railway station).

A beautiful 'hotel' and room was fantastic with lovely view. Proprietor friendly and helpful . Great 'get away from it all' location. However I am not convinced by the breakfast arrangements -you have food left in the fridge / cupboards and eat it in your room and then the dishes are cleared away later. There is a fridge and a microwave, crockery and cutlery and some fairly basic essential eg bread, croissants, small packets of cereals , fruit and beverages. It is adequte but uninspiring and given the quality of the establishment I think it lets them down.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting and tastefully decorated. The owners made us feel very welcome and we would definitely visit again.
