Welcome to the independently owned Crown Hotel. Originally an eighteenth century coaching inn, The Crown is situated in the centre of the canal town of Stone with easy access from M6 junctions 14 and 15.
Stone is a thriving market town situated on the Trent and Mersey canal. It boasts many interesting shops and restaurants and is within easy access of the Potteries, Alton Towers and the Peak District.

I totally believe this hotel is misrepresented on the web site. The bedroom looks beautifully designed in contemparary style and was the reason we booked it over alternative similarly styled hotels. To find ourselves staying in a 1980's style motel annex was totally disappointing and ruined what was supposed to be a nice romantic weekend and a birthday celebration. I booked this and am totally embarrassed by my hotel selection. They should post a photo of the true room you will be staying in.
