Mardonia Hotel

The hotel was nice, bit cold in the room couldn't get the heating on, we normally stay near the centre so was a bit far out but taxi was cheap enough, good value for money and they were very nice, didn't get up in time for breakfast! would stay there again, room decor very modern and good size.

What a fantastic hotel, lovely people, made you feel welcome and part of their family from the minute you arrive. Breakfast was well what can I say, hot, tasty no cheap food, and plenty on the plate to start your day. The room was really nicely decorated, very modern. The hotel is still havng some re-furbishment, but this did not effect the stay, I would definatley recommend this hotel to other people. The only down side no parking if you don't get there early enough...

The couple that run it are very friendly and are extremely helpful if you want anything.
they try to make you feel at home as muich as possible doing everything they can for you.

We arrived late on a friday night, and when we walked through the door we could see that there has been alot of work gone into making this hotel a really nice establishment and i would agree.
we arrived and found out that we had been put in a family room when we had only paid for a double room, we got upgraded at not extra charge which was very nice.
as for the room it was decorated very modern and stylish which my girlfriend enjoyed more than i did , however it was spotlessly clean and the size of the bath room was very nice, all the facilities where spot on, the shower etc.
the bed's are very clean and very comfortable!!! i had one of the best night sleep in that bed than i have for a long time.
The breakfast which we recieved was lovely a proper english breakfast the full works!
there was also cereal for the healthier people.
The lougne area of the hotel was very homely with nice chairs and a TV and bar, a great place to sit and talk to fellow guests or simply just to chill out when you get in.
Summary: I would recommend this hotel in blackpool to anyone, i have been to blackpool a number of time through the years. but this hotel has left a lasting impression on me. The people that run it have put alot into the hotel alot of work and time has gone into making this hotel as nice a possible and i think they have done a very good job! I wish them success in the future and hope they do well!

Although the hotel was undergoing refurbishment, the rooms were lovely and very clean. The hosts were extremely friendly , helpful and very generous, making everyone feel at home immediately. The food and service was excellent. The hotel is sited just off the main promenade, so while being close to the main attractions, was also very quiet.
Would definitely recommend and will go back next year!

The owners of the mardonia were very nice people! i would recommend the hotel to anyone as our stay there was very pleasent and i will definately be booking there again next year.
