This is not a top of the range hotel, however, for a two day stay it was completely sufficient for our needs. Location was excellent, just a 20 minute walk to the medieval city, across the road from the train station, a taxi rank outside the front door, 10 minute car journey costing 10/12euro's to the airport. The staff were helpful on every occasion. Only comments would be that the entire hotel could do with a make-over as the furniture is both old and old fashioned together with furnishings. The restaurant food was ok but again, not top of the range but sufficient for our needs. |

This hotel is in the centre of town, only 12 parking spaces available, but thankfully, there was an underground, public car park opposite, locked overnight. The room was jaded but clean, the hotel is impressive in the public areas, but it feels like a crowded station. It was heaving with coach parties, obviously very busy, but only one member of staff was available at the desk, resulting in long queues. Breakfast was similarly understaffed, so the help yourself buffet was a bit of a bun fight. At 120 euros, for bed and breakfast for two, we've certainly had much better value in many other places. Staff were courteous but under pressure...we won't be returning. |
