The Wellington is clearly a former student dorm and therefore is very much a hostel rather than a hotel (sinks in the rooms, loos and showers down the hall, everything a bit cheap and run down) BUT we paid £40 for the night so we got what we expected. You pays your money and takes your choice. |

Fairly basic accomodation but very comfortable and good value for money. Would certainly consider staying again if in the area. Excellent location too. |

There was some small issues with the shower room but overall it was not to bad, the curtains in the room need replacing nets needed a wash. Long walk for older people like us to walk for a toilet in the night. staff very helpful, breakfast really nice. COULD DO WITH TEA MAKING FACILITIES IN ROOM, I AM DIABETIC AND REQUIRED DRINKS VERY OFTEN. |

We were a bit disappointed by the interior appearance of the hotel, but then found that, though the facilities were basic and old, everything was clean. Generally it's good for its rate, and suitable for a short stay. Its location is very good. Convenient for sightseeing in central London. Could've provided each room with a kettle, though the hotel staff was very helpful in providing some hot water when asked. |
