The Kings Hotel and Gary Rhodes Brasserie & bar, located in the centre of Christchurch town is a Boutique style Hotel with 16 impeccably furnished rooms. A separate restaurant and bar on the ground floor operates in partnership with Michelin starred chef Gary Rhodes, and provides dining in a casual Brasserie. We operate a complimentary room service breakfast for guests, served at your convenience by advising reception the time you would like it served. The room service breakfast consists of Orange Juice, a ‘Bakers Basket’ with White or Granary Toast, Tea or Coffee, and operates from 7.30 am to 10.00 am every day.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great setting. Two tiny niggles: no continental adaptors (though they're working on it), and the iPod dock wouldn't let our iPod dock. But the overall experience far outweighs that - one to recommend, and to which to return.

Much better than expected for the price paid through LateRooms. I was not looking forward to there not being a breakfast room but the service to the room for breakfast was excellent.
Without being requested the management offered to stay serving in the bar until clients were 'satisfied'.

A very clean modern hotel. Staff were very professional and rooms were decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Would highly reccomend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. the only fault i would say is that there is no room service for evening meals- there is a resturant run by Gary Rhodes downstairs but sometimes people travelling alone on business dont want to sit in a restaurnt on their own. But overall the hotel was fantastic and i would reccomend them to anyone.
