Directions to Strawberry Fields

ROAD: Follow the A23 to Brighton. Head for the seafront and turn left at the Brighton Pier. New Steine is the 9th turning on the left. RAIL: Walk out of the station and towards the Clock Tower. Turn left onto North Street and down towards the traffic lights. Continue across the junction onto St James St. New Steine is the 8th road on the right. COACH/BUS: Pool valley coach station is opposite the Brighton Pier. With the pier to your right, walk up Marine Parade. New Steine is the 9th road on the left. The No. 1 and No. 7 bus stops at the top of New Steine.

Generally a clean quiet B&B in a good location but breakfast a bit lacking especially for men. Took a while to get use to the slopping floors and the 2 inch piece of wood on one bed leg to make it level. Over priced for what you got.

Friendly welcome but overpowering smell of fried bacon throughout the hotel although there was respite from this once inside my room. Clean throughout. Didn't like the fact that my mattress had a waterproof protector sheet fitted but I understand why they do this given the amount of hen/stag parties. Fairly expensive for what I got overall but then I did book at v short notice
