The hotel was easy to find - about 10 minutes walk from the station and in a quiet location just out of the town centre. It's a lovely old stone building - a former mill owner's house with an impressive entrance hall, staircase and balustraded balcony running round the first floor. My room was small but nicely decorated and perfectly adequate for one night's stay. The en-suite seemed nearly new. Good quality shower but very small wash basin, barely big enough for washing hands. Sadly the restaurant does not offer evening meals at weekends but the family who run the hotel recommended an excellent Italian restaurant just a short walk across the park. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. All-in-all, very good value for money. |

I stayed here as a stop off for Longleat and had an excellant time. The room was very clean and had all the extras I expect in a room, including digital tv and toiletries. The breakfast was great, a large selection available. I got a discount so really good value and the hosts were very welcoming. Will be staying here again. |

the service was not very friendly, the bed was too small and too short for people over 6ft, breakfast was only served between 8 and 9 a.m. and the price we paid via internet booking was actually higher than the price displayed at the reception. |

This is a clean, comfortable B&B that offers great value for money. They are in the process of updating the decor, as our room was a little tired, but very clean. There isn't alot to do in the evenings in Trowbridge, and you need to travel further afield to Bath or Bradford-on-Avon to find a nice place to eat out. There is a Wetherspoons though! |
