The hotel was easy to find. The room was small but adequate. Breakfast was good. It was a good overnight stop |

I used to stay at the Claydon upto 2000 when it wasx a small 4 to 5 room hotel, the food was always excellent. This is still the case, except that they charge you £12.95 for breakfast, which is really over the top. The hotel is very well situated, the Restaurant is excellent, very well presented, but I think they are taking a lend with breakfast, there is a little chef down the road, which does a great olympic breakfast for £9.00 including coffee. |

Pleasant stay in a clean and friendly hotel. Room was veey spacious and clean and the food very good indeed. Only gripe is that the small bar area is actually in the recption area, so the chance for a quiet bar meal is generally interrupted by guests coming and going. Id forgotten to bring toothpaste but theres a convenience store over the road !! |
