The Cartford Inn is in a beautiful setting on the river by a small bridge , we were given a lovely welcome and invited to choose the room we prefared, we found it hard to chooe as both rooms were beautifully furnished with amazing french furniture and upto the minute decor in the shower rooms. We chose the one with three windows and better views up and down the river. The Manageress was very welcoming and the staff were all very friendly especially the Breakfast Cook who seemed really concerned we enjoyed our breakfast, which we did, she encouraged us to help ourselves to some fruit which was freely available and even offered us more breakfast if we needed it, we didnt as the two eggs, sausage ,two rashers or bacon ,tomato and mushrooms with toast were enough for us and I think anyone! We stayed two nights and will go back, only two little points, 1. Take a hairdrier, I didnt and there is none in the room, there was no problems getting one from the staff to borrow, and they said they were looking at getting them in the roooms. |

Every bedroom was stunning! We were asked which room we wanted. We chose the bridal suite, and next time we will choose the red room. |
