Even though the weather was poor, we really enjoyed our two night stay at Graythwaite. Very pleasant staff, beautiful gardens and floral displays in the hotel. We would definitely stay again. |

The hotel has a great ambiance and general country house feel and wonderful gardens. Bedroom was light airy and clean. however the double matress was soft and probably a bit, like us, tired, causing"roll together" would have prefered firmer. Shower was an "off the taps affair" but was adequate. Dinner was a set £28. 50 per person unless part of your package but was very well presented and a fair amount of choice, and was superb, although sweets could have had a more extensive choice. Wine cellar extensive but as normal with most hotels, mark up is huge Oh well! Overall we enjoyed our stay staff were super, plenty of parking. If you order a morning paper dont expect it at your door, it will be on reception. |
