We enjoyed the hotel verry much. The only down side was the strange bedroom door with the windows and blinds |

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. We were given a tour of the guest house and additional information regarding eateries and walks within Chester. The guest house was immaculate and the location was a short walk from the town center. The breakfast, although we were apprehensive at first, was superb especially as several homemade products were made available. I would highly recommend Buckingham house to anyone staying in the Chester area. |

A very welcoming but quiet, pleasant, comfortable hotel. Within 15 minutes walk of centre but bus stops are outside with regular services, very handy for shopping and the races. Terri is very helpful and, as other's have commented, provides more healthy alternatives for breakfast than the standard Full English and still as filling! |

We had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was clean and had everything we required and the breakfast, although maybe not a traditional type of cooked breakfast, was cooked, served and presented to a very high standard with hot dishes such as kippers and eggs available. The location of the hotel is great for getting into the city centre and surrounding attractions. |
