At discounted rate (£70), reasonable value for money.
Beautiful location. We were in 'garden room' in seperate building.
TV not functioning, only one channel. No water pressure so shower inadequate. Breakfast Ok but wouldn't have paid £15 for it. Some areas in need of some refurbishment.
Nice lounge/bar area with open fire.
Good for quick getaway, not particularly recommended for special occasion.

Very disappointed with level of room for a supposed 'rack rate' of £155 per night. Basically one of the least used of the available rooms. Housed in an old stable block with cobwebs across the room doorway, a tired attempt at a Country Hotel setting.
Food service was ok but dod feel a bit old-fashioned. May suit the area, but as I was passing through on business, was really looking for something a bit better quality. Oh, and there's no mobile phone reception in the hotel grounds either!
