The Kings Arms Hotel

9-13 St Johns Street, Salisbury

Situated within the heart of picturesque Salisbury lies the Kings Arms Hotel.
A Grade II listed, Tudor building, rumoured to have housed both King Charles 1st and 2nd, the Kings Arms Hotel lies within easy reach of some of Southern England's foremost treasures.
17 ensuite rooms, stamped with their own individual, original features. From wooden wall pannelling to original stone fireplaces to freestanding bathtubs and four poster beds. There is always something to see and behold around every corner.
All of our rooms have en – suite bathrooms with bath and, or shower, tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen televisions. We have 3 Z – Beds and a travel cot to accommodate children but we do request, due to safety reasons, that parents bring their own bedding for baby cots.
Parking is available in the public car park, which is a minutes walk away. Rates apply.
The Award winning Apres LXIX, is one of Salisbury's longest serving, independant restaurants and is now sited within the hotel and renamed Chapter 69. Described in The Times in October 2007 as "the hottest seat in town" Apres LXIX serves British Cuisine with a twist and is available for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and Sunday lunch. It is advisable to book early on.
**All guests can receive a complimentary discount of 10% off food at Chapter 69. **
Offer available Mondays to Thursdays only.

The hotel is fabulous with the best possible location across the street from the Cathedral Close. It is clearly antique and has beenrestored in the best imaginable way.

This hotel was built in 1650 os has a great deal of history. The rooms are comfortable and the slanted staircase give the inside a lot a character. The full Emglish breakfast was excellent and very filling.

Booked at the last minute felt it was good value for money and the location was great 10 mins from town centre and 10 mins from station, lots of quiet pubs nearby but i imagine could get quite busy in the town centre, lots of local places of interest, only thing about the room you have to squash into the shower and i am only a size 8 and the double bed was a little on the small side, hardly the Ritz but it did exactly what it said on the tin, breakfast was lovely and hot but no toast, guess i could have asked for some as the people were lovely and friendly and i do not think it would have been a problem.
