What a wonderful place to stay. Joanne, the hostess, couldn't do enough for us. We received a welcome glass of wine on arrival with recommendations for local restaurants. Joanne rang one of the available restaurants to ensure we would be able to eat there as it was quite late when we arrived. (We had a very good meal at The Triton Inn in Sledmere). The bedroom and bathroom were presented to a very high standard as was the breakfast which was delicious- such a choice of fresh fruit and cooked food. We would definitely like to return but stay for longer! |

Kilham Hall is a 1st class place to stay and the hospitality by the owners is second to none. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the breakfast is fantastic in both quantity and quality. I am looking forward to visiting again possibly in the summer when I could just sit and read a book in the well kept gardens. |

Simply fantastic, I think you would have to go a long way to find anything that even came close to this guest house. As soon as the room was booked through laterooms Joanna the host sent us a welcoming e-mail and information about where to eat locally. Althought we didn't see this till after our stay as we booked so last minute I thought this was a wonderful touch. The only word that I can think of to discribe the room is pure luxury and as I believe we were in the smallest of the 3 rooms I can only wonder what the others must be like. The food was amazing and the choice very large considering this is a guest house with just three rooms. Actually I felt like I was in another world and did not want to leave, ah well in the words of a previous reviewer I'll just have to try out the other rooms on another occassion. |
