Bethany House

101 WARWICK AVENUE, BEDFORD

Bethany House is a family-run B&B located in a quiet residential area of Bedford, within easy walking distance of the central shopping area, the mainline railway station, and the bus station. The house dates from Victorian times and has many fine architectural features.
We have 7 guest rooms for single or double occupation, starting at just £30 per night. Three of the rooms have an en-suite shower room with W.C. All the guest rooms have a TV and tea/coffeee making facilities.
A continental breakfast is served in the dining room between 7.00 and 9.00 a.m. and included in our room rates. A full English breakfast can be provided if required, and dinner is usually available if ordered at breakfast time. The proprietor, Julie Donadio, is an acclaimed Italian cook.
We have wireless internet and free parking available for our guests.

To find Bethany House from the centre of town Cross over the bridge with the Park Hotel on your right hand side. Turn left at the traffic lights just after the bridge (Swan Hotel on your right) into the one-way system around St Pauls Square. Keep to the left and at the next lights turn left into Home Lane just after the Tourist Office. Follow the road to a mini roundabout and exit right into River Street leaving the Salvation Army building on your left side As you approach the main town shopping area keep in the right lane and go straight across next traffic lights Keep left into Greyfriars at the next large roundabout (with a garden in the middle) and pass the bus station on the right hand side Go past the Police Station and straight across the next lights into Union Street, keeping to the left hand side Turn left at the third road junction, into Warwick Avenue Take care crossing the junction with Linden Road, and Bethany House is No 101 on the right hand side

Lovely hotel, lovely peole. Very friendly. Breakfast was not what we expected but ok.
Beds were lovely and comfy. Generally a very nice stay.

we were not aware that this was cash or cheque only......perhaps we didn't read the information correctly....not a problem as my colleague was carrying cash and the owners were very accomodating but intially not the usual amount of cash i would carry

I can not comment on food, because we orderd no meal, but ate only breakfast that wasn't good.That we had GPS- navigationssystem, was easy for us to get to the hotel.
