The hotel was set in a lovely location, although off a very narrow road - easier to get to a night when you can see the lights from on-coming cars! Breakfast was lovely. Room ,in the Coachhouse, was clean and spacious, I particularly liked the way the bunkbed was screened off by a curtain for my daughter to have a `den`! Bathroom was very big - clean too! Only issue was when I went to pay they had added a supplement for a child even though she was within the age limit and we had booked a family room in which a child up to 10 could stay for the price of the room - this was removed from the bill. I did have my LateRooms confirmation with me too! |

I was very impressed to be called a few days before our stay to advise that the restaurant bookings were high and to ask if we wanted to book for dinner to be sure of a table. The hotel is up a hill on a single track road so you don't want to meet anything coming the other way -best to get there in daylight if it is your first time. |
