Hotel was actually one floor of a building just on the corner of Via Veneto. Location was very good, right beside the Barberini metro stop. There was a considerable climb up the stairs and the lift (really tiny) only actually served every other floor. I found the pictures on the hotels own website to be misleading (if you look up their website, as I did) , and the room was probably the smallest room I have ever stayed in. Also, as the hotel did not have any reception as such, just a small office which was only open til around 9pm. (our flight was due in at 9.30pm and I did advise the hotel of this, so there was someone there to let us into our room, even though our flight was actually delayed.) To sum up, I definately would not rate this hotel as 4 star as the facilities were not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I was disappointed with the hotel, but would not knock the hotel too much, as the staff, when actually there, were very nice, and the hotels location made up for any inadequacies in the quality of the accommodation. |
