hotel and leisure facilities were superb and great value for money, couldn't fault the swimming pool, sauna steam room etc would stay here again for this alone! the room was lovely and bathroom great, although walls seemed a little thin as could here every noise from party downstairs even though on second floor. bed was great though. only slight complaint was a single member of staff who was slightly rude when we ordered room service, although the service was prompt, they seemed to take offence at a request for dairy free alternatives which was quite upsetting. overall though a great stay and would come here again.

Thought the colour scheme of the hotel made it look dark, in particular the bedrooms. Opened the blinds to getsome daylight into the room, otherwise very dark. Leisure facilities excellant and pool very quiet, great for an early swim. Ate in the bar as the resturant was fully booked, food ok, but a little pricey for the drinks. Breakfast was ok plenty to eat, athough limited in choice on the cooked side, but it was fine as there was plenty to help yourself to.

Excellent hotel but they did not recieve my booking which was made 24hrs in advance through laterooms so it took approx 20 mins to check in as I had to prove to them that I had booked a room through lateroooms.

The customer service from the staff at this particular Village Hotel was appalling. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful but the bar staff and staff around the hotel were very rude and short. We have stayed in The Village Hotels before but this particular site let them down as a whole. I can say we will never use this one again.
