Whitley Hall is an ivy-clad 16th century mansion that provides an elegant and romantic setting for any occasion. Relax in this historic and fashionable hotel and enjoy the tranquil grounds of the surrounding estate. The gardens rise around the picturesque house and are planted with fine oaks and other mature trees. Peacocks, Mallards, Canadian Geese and squirrels grace the gardens, which also include two small lakes.
The hotel has recently benefited from major refurbishment and offers extreme comfort throughout. The recently opened Parker wing offers rooms of the very highest standard, all of which have Juliet balconies and four deluxe bedrooms with lake views.
All rooms have a complimentary decanter of port, and the bathroom contains free toiletries with fluffy bathrobes also for your use. The hotel also has free direct broadband access and WIFI.
Our restaurant has also been awarded an AA rosette.

By Road From M1 motorway Northbound. Leave at Junction 35 to Chapeltown (A629). Downhill, turn left into Nether Lane, at the traffic lights turn right. Opposite Jinnah Indian Restaurant turn left then immediately right into Whitley Lane. At fork, turn right into Elliott Lane. Hotel entrance is on left. From M1 motorway Southbound: Leave at junction 36 and follow signs to Sheffield (A61). Proceed for approx 2.5 miles and look for the large petrol station on the right. Continue on A61 and take the 3rd turning on the left (look for brown hotel sign) into Elliott Lane. The hotel entrance is approximately 1/2 mile on right. Sheffield city centre, take A61 (Barnsley) past Sheffield Wednesday FC. Approximately 2 miles beyond, through Grenoside traffic lights. Right before Norkfolk Arms into Whitley Lane and Village. Hotel entrance is on left.
