Directions to The Old Manor Hotel
From M25/M4-Westbound from London (north and west) 1.Exit Junction 17 (M4). Head south on A350 on the Chippenham By-pass 2.Where A4 crosses A350 follow the A4 towards Corsham/Bath 3.After by-passing Corsham take left fork to Bradford on Avon on B3109 4.Join A363 at Bradford on Avon and enter town 5.Cross the bridge and after 100 metres turn left at mini roundabout, remaining on A363 towards Trowbridge 6. Hotel is on the right at the top of the hill just after you pass the sign 'Welcome to Trowbridge' From M25/M3-Westbound from London (south) 1.Exit Junction 8 (M3) onto A303 Westbound 2.At Stonehenge fork right onto A344 3.Pass through Shrewton and turn left on B390 towards Chitterne across Salisbury Plain 4.At the junction with A36 turn right towards Warminster which you bypass and head towards Westbury and Trowbridge 5.From Westbury stay on A363 and at Trowbridge follow signs to Bath, Bradford on Avon and Trowle 6.The hotel is on the A363 between Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon on the left From M5-Southbound/Northbound or M4 Eastbound (from Wales) 1.Join M4 eastbound towards London 2.Exit Junction 18, southbound towards Bath on A46 3.By-pass Bath and stay on dual carriageway for another mile till you reach the Batheaston roundabout. Follow A363 to Bradford on Avon 4.Join A363 at Bradford on Avon and enter town 5.Cross the bridge and after 100 metres turn left at mini roundabout, remaining on A363 towards Trowbridge From south Coast 1.Travel via Frome if coming from the west or Warminster By-pass from the east 2.At Trowbridge follow the signs for 'Through Traffic' then to Bath/Bradford on Avon on the A363 3.The hotel is on the A363 on the left at the top of the hill as you leave Trowbridge

very pretty hotel full of interesting curios, very helpful staff but dated bathroom ensuite and rather cramped double room, more suitable for one.but clean and pleasant enough that we didnt ask to be re-roomed.lovely area .dinner looked very good but we only took breakfast which was very nice. all round a good experience |

Did someone say "quirky"? Yes it is, and I loved it. Nice old building; we stayed in a purpose-built (I think) single storey annexe but tastefully sympathetic to main building. (I suspect the annexe rooms are better than the main building rooms.) |
