Nice apartment but impossible to sleep as the trains run throughout the night and do not stop at midnight - 0530 as the descrpition says. A pity as the aprtment was clean and comfortable, and nicely presented. |

Whilst full warning was given of proxilmity to rail way it was expected that suitable precaution against noise had been taken in construction. I found that was certainly not the case. Relaxing in the evening or trying to work was a non starter. Sleep was disturbed |

Yes, there was lots of train noise and a few vibrations, I knew that before I booked it, so it wasn't a problem. The person in the next apartment was noisier, I have to say! The rooms have all that you need, adequately furnished and the receptionist was helpful. I would stay again. |

The main issues with the Gatehouse flat I stayed in are to do with the location of the flat (direclty next to train tracks) and also the fact that one entire wall was made of glass but only had slatted blinds, not blackout curtains. Didn't get a good night's sleep at all, although outside of these two factors, the property is lovely, the room was great and the price was amazing. |
