We had two pillows each the hotel was lovely they could not have dopne anymore for us. The other places in the village are not friendly unless you are a millionaire status so stay at Half Moon, I recommend the Pizzas, breakfst was cereal toast and full English. The evening meals were a delight. Anyone finding fault with this place needs to try a Holiday Inn first this place is far better. Kim and the Breakfast Supervisor are fantastic. They were accommodating the only draw back was the Manager who was coming to the end of his term there, he made me feel we were a real burden, he spent a lot of time in the evening with his mates at the end fo the bar not in keeping with the standards of the other staff. The cleaner in the morning don't call her love she hates it and will ensure you know about it. |

I was shown round the back of the pub into the garden where there was a very small brick built building they where calling a cabin, probably more like a garage. Cold, old towels, very uncomfortable! Not what you would expect when booking a hotel, more like a B&B! |

Hotel is a pub and a very friendly pub. Food is typical pub food and I had the Half Moon platter that was too much for one and I am a good eater. Did not have breakfast as I was not hungry after my evening meal. Roon faced the main road that was a bit noisy but did not ruin my sleep. Great place to stay for 1 night if you do not want all the frills of a 3 start hotel and restaurant. |

Room ok, clean but a bit basic for the price. Very busy road so a bit noisy and also being a pub not the ideal stay for an early night. |
